The E-volution for automated power brushing

Advantages of an electric brush motor

The new electrically operated brush motors have revolutionized deburring and brushing. In combination with the tried and tested quick-change chuck, which enables rapid tool changes, the products are particularly efficient.

The special thing about the new brush motors is that they not only build up a high torque at low speeds, but can also maintain the speed at high speeds WITHOUT losses. They achieve a very high level of quality while using very little energy.

Electric brush motors at a glance

The contact pressure of the BLDC motor spindles can be finely varied using the torque characteristic curve. The electric motor keeps its speed constant as long as the contact pressure and thus torque do not exceed the maximum of the electric motor spindle. This allows a consistent brushing result to be achieved.

BME 40-6500 WS

The smaller model with a diameter of 36 mm covers a speed range of 700 to 6,500 rpm and has a maximum torque of 1.1 Nm.

BME 80-4500 WS

The 45 mm design delivers less spin but more power with 700 to 4,500 revolutions and 1.9 Nm as maximum torque.

Electric robot spindles with radial and axial deflection

In the near future, the rigid versions of electrically operated brush motors will no longer be the only option. There will soon be electrical robot spindles that can be deflected both axially and radially.
